Lloyd Thomas Varnell

Lloyd Thomas “Chip” Varnell, 66, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. A lifelong resident of the area, Chip was born on September 19, 1953. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed bowling and following the Tennessee Vols football team and the Atlanta Braves.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Noblitt; brother, Allen Varnell; sister Robin Varnell Velba; and stepdad, James Noblitt.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Earn Thomas Varnell; stepmom, Ann Varnell; daughter Sarah (Brandon) Varnell Erb; brother, Mike Varnell; grandchildren, Riley and Logan Erb; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 12:00PM-2:00PM in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will follow at 2:00PM.
