Liwen Victoria Yang

Liwen Victoria Yang came into this world on November 30, 1994, in Shanghai, China, and passed from it on March 25, 2023, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Victoria grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, but called Chattanooga home after graduating from Covenant College in 2017.

Victoria was preceded in death by father, Tom Yang. Victoria is survived by mother, Annie and Stan, as well as uncle Hua Adam Zhang, aunt Susan Hoo, and cousins Jason, Alexander, and Derick.

In addition to given family, Victoria also has an extremely close group of friends and chosen family who will miss Vic terribly.

Victoria was a fierce advocate for the underdog and the marginalized, a talented writer, a loyal friend, a protective child, and a dedicated follower of Jesus. Vic’s greatest joy was worshipping God with others through music and prayer.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, March 30th, at 3:00pm at the Mission Chattanooga to remember and honor Victoria’s life. An additional memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM, Sawnee View Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Highway, Cummings, GA 30040
