Obituary
Linda Ruth Hickman, age 65, formally of Decatur, TN, went to be one of God's special angels on the morning of September 2, 2014. Linda died peacefully at her home in Chattanooga, TN.
Linda was of Baptist faith and attended Shiloh Baptist Church, until she moved to Chattanooga, TN. She was born December 4, 1948.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Eula Mae Allen Hickman and her brother Roy Lee Hickman. She is survived by her brothers and their spouses John R. (JR) And Mildred Hickman of Ooltewah, TN; Benny and Francis Hickman of Georgetown, TN; Edward and Betty Hickman of Decatur, TN and sister-in-law, Betty Hicks Hickman of Decatur, TN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda was a very special person to many people and will be greatly missed, especially by her niece Bobbie Hickman, Littleton, CO. Linda enjoyed her outings when her niece came to visit and loved sharing Christmas with her niece and family.
A special thanks to Linda's caregivers at Keithcare in Chattanooga, Hospice of Chattanooga, Judy Mullin, and Harold Bryson. Also, to Betty Hicks Hickman and Sarah Davis for their visits. A very special thanks to Michelle Robinson, who cared for Linda like she was her family and was there until the end. Linda adored Michelle.
A graveside service will be held for Linda at Shiloh Cemetery in Decatur, TN at 10AM on Friday, September 5, 2014. The Reverend Jimmy Lewis will officiate the service.
