Linda Louise Mcdaniel

Linda Louise McDaniel age 68 of Cleveland TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 30th at her home surrounded by her family. Linda was born on August 31, 1951 in Bradley County. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School. She was married to the love of her life, Larry McDaniel, for 48 years. Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and Nana. She enjoyed working and helping her husband in the family business. She was a member of Waterville Baptist Church. Her biggest joy besides her family was sharing the love of Jesus to children. She was heavily involved in preschool/children’s ministry over the years at Center Point Baptist, Clingan Ridge Baptist, and Waterville Baptist. She played an intricate part in children programs such as Girls in Action, Awana, VBS, Children’s Church and taught Pre-school Sunday School.
She is preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Audrey Mitchell, brother Wesley (Junior) Mitchell, and brother-in-law David Holloway.
Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory: husband, Larry McDaniel; daughters and son-in-laws Tennille and Jonathan Jobe and Tiffany and Ben Inscore; six grandsons Chandler McDaniel, Tyler Jobe, Trae Jobe, Cameron Inscore, Andrew Inscore, Aidan Inscore; two loving sisters, Pat (Jerry) Akins and Mary Holloway, and many nephews and nieces whom she dearly loved and a care giver Connie Evans.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 at 7:00 PM at Waterville Baptist Church located at 4555 Dalton Pike SE Cleveland TN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening at the church from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the service. The Reverend Kenneth Gardner and the Reverend Allan Lovelace will be officiating. Special music provided by Michelle Augustine.
A private family graveside and committal service will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Wesley Dixon, Stephen Dixon, Kevin White, Matt Ingram, Jason Morris, Chandler McDaniel, Tyler Jobe serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons Trae Jobe; Cameron Inscore; Andrew Inscore; Aidan Inscore.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in Linda’s memory be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital or New Hope Pregnancy Center.
