Linda Garrett

Tommie Linda Garrett, 66, of Cleveland, TN, went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2019. She was born January 26, 1953 to Tom and Ruby Ellis. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a powerful prayer warrior and spent her life working hard, caring for others and enjoying the beach.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 24 years, Howard L. Garrett, Jr.; sister, Sheila Cronan.

Survivors include her children, Becky and Calvin Denney of Charleston, TN, Adam and Lillie Garrett and Jessica Garrett of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Shelby and Shaun Berbert, Chase and Aubrey Denney, Madi Denney of Charleston, TN, Tucker and Will Garrett of Cleveland, TN; great grandchildren, Hadley Denney, Sawyer “Sassy” Berbert and the newest addition, Wilder Denney; brothers and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Corinth Baptist Church and the funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM with Pastor Shane Williams officiating. Burial will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 9:30 AM. Psalm 23:6, “ Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
