Lilly Ann Silvers

Lilly Ann Silvers age 83 of Old Fort passed away Sunday October 20, 2019 at a local hospital. Lilly was married for 64 years and devoted her life to the care of her husband, Children and grandchildren who inturn gave her much love and joy.

Lilly enjoyed spending time gardening and in her flower beds, Lilly had a love for Alabama Football and Nascar racing.

A born again Christian Lilly enjoyed attending The Family Worship Center in Cleveland. Mrs. Silvers was preceeded in death by her parents; Clee and Roxie Waldroup; brothers, Hershel, Cecil, Dave and Mitchell Waldroup; sisters, Della Rose Waldroup,Ruth Walker and Pauline Morgan and a granddaughter, Kelby Fritts.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years Bill Silvers; Daughter, Marie (Eddie) Baldwin, son ,William (Kathy) Silvers and a daughter Rhonda McKnight all of the Old Fort community; sisters, Kathryn Bramblett, Virginia (Cricket) Green; brothers, Gene and Johnny Waldroup; grand children, Richard Mason, Emily Silvers Gomez , Nicole Baldwin, Clee McKnight, Jessica Silvers, Dee Dee Fritts, Jason Baldwin and Chris Rogers. She was also survived by 8 great grand children and 2 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers, Marie Baldwin, Eddie Baldwin, Nicole Baldwin, Richard Mason, William Silvers, Clee McKnight, Jeff Stacy, Mack Stacy and Samuel Steelmon.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 4-8p.m. at Companion Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 with a visitation from 1-3 and service to start at 3:00p.m. at The Family Worship Center with Reverand Issac Walker officiating. Burial at Conasauga Cemetery.
