Lenda West Spradling

Lenda F. Spradling, age 69, born January 8, 1949, passed away on the morning of December 4, 2018. Lenda was a graduate of McMinn County High School and a member of Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle Church for 5 years. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Freeman and sister Wuanita Creaseman. Lenda was the wife of Darin Spradling for 21 years. She is also survived by eight children- four sons James West, Carey West, David West and William West and four daughters Vanessa Cole, Debbie Payne, Mary Clayton and Amanda Prince. She was grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 12. Lenda was a very devoted person and did all she could to be the best individual for the ones she loved. Working long, hard hours to provide. Life had its ups and downs, but she lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; being with friends and family, and surrounded by love and care. Lenda was a wimple woman spending a lot of time helping out friends making sure family came first. She is loved by all, missed by many and will be remembered by most. Now united with family in Heaven and we are rejoicing to someday see her again.
A memorial service is planned for Monday, December 10, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S. White Street in Athens, TN.
