Lee Olen Brown

February 17, 1946 — September 3, 2017

Lee Olen Brown, 71, of the Linsdale Community in Polk County died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 3, 2017. He was born on February 17, 1946 to the late Eskey and Martha Brown. He previously worked in construction where he poured concrete. He also farmed in the past and years ago he also enjoyed coon hunting. Olen was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Eskey and Martha Jane Plumley Brown; sister Ruth Sitzlane; brothers: Ray Brown, Rev. Paul Brown, Rev. Arlin Brown, William (Bill) Brown; sister in laws: Margaret Brown and Diane Brown.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister Wanda Richesin of Eton, GA; brothers: J.M. (Sylvia “Sib”) Brown of Cleveland, David Brown of Linsdale, Johnny Brown of Linsdale, Jackie (Brenda) Brown of Athens; sister in laws: Martha Brown of Linsdale, Evelyn Brown of Cleveland; aunt Mayme (Knox) Melton of Etowah. In addition to these, he leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday September 6, 2017 at Four Points Baptist Church located at 3501 Old Tasso Road, Cleveland, TN 37312. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00pm at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be held at 10:00am at Antioch Cemetery on Thursday September 7, 2017 with Jeremy Brown, Jason Brown, Chris Richesin, Ricky Brown, James Brown, and Doug Brown serving as pallbearers.
