Laura Taylor Corn Bishop

Laura Taylor Corn Bishop, 52, has been received into the arms of Jesus where she has found eternal peace. Laura was loved by many friends and family, and she left something of herself with everyone she touched. She was a bright light, a talented artist, a faithful friend, a loving mother, and a cherished daughter and sister. Although Laura’s life was much too short, she will forever remain in our hearts. She left us all with wonderful memories of her boundless humor and wit, her fierce love of her sons, Dane, Dylan, and Sam, her kindness to everyone, and her love for all creatures great and small. But most importantly, it is her laughter that will forever live in our hearts & souls. We take comfort and peace knowing Laura is covered with His feathers, and under His wings she has found refuge.
She is preceded in death by her father, James F. Corn Jr. and Sam’s father, Timothy Bishop.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her three children, Dane Johnston and his fiancé, Courtney Vincent, Dylan Johnston, and Sam Bishop; mother, Molly Corn; siblings, Jim Corn and Leslie Johnston, and Donna Ziebell; many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday August 18th, 2016, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, located at 320 Broad St NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to either the Ark of Cleveland or to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Laura’s memory.
