Lamar Essex

Obituary
Lamar Essex, 65, a resident of Athens, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21st, 2015. Lamar was well known for being an extraordinarily good carpenter.

Lamar is preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as his grandmother.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Israel Essex; his sisters, Carolyn Hill (Charlie), Sandra Burns, and Beverly Campbell; his brother, Ronnie Freeman; special little buddies Alex and Tucker, as well as other extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00PM on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, Tennessee 37311.

The family will also be receiving friends from 6:00PM until the 7:00PM service time.
