Lacy Shaunta Waldo

September 15, 1992 — February 2, 2023

On Thursday February 2, 2023, our beloved Lacy Shaunta Waldo passed away at her home in Bufford, Georgia. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, (BEST)friend, but most importantly her favorite was being Layla and Peyton's MOMMY! Lacy was born on September 15, 1992 to the late Cheri Irene Thompson and Mickey Waldo. Lacy was a fun and loving person with a HUGE heart. She loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all especially her two dogs Ghost and Momma dog. Time wasn't in our favor and this isn't "goodbye", this is simply "see you later"!💗

She is preceded in death by her mother Cheri Irene Thompson, Baby sister Lacie Nicole Waldo, grandmother Joyce Peggy McCampbell Sherrill, grandfather John Robert LeBeau, grandfather Joe Waldo, great grandparents John and Aileen Waldo, MaryRuth and Lloyd Loden, Aunt Julia Waldo, and uncle Robert Loden.

She is survived by her two children Layla Shirks and Peyton Shirks, her father Mickey Waldo of Spring City TN, her brothers Donnie (Paula) Lebeau of Dayton, Justin Thompson of Spring City, TN, her sister Cynthia (Chris) Dodd of Spring City, TN, her grandparents Oscar and Shirley McFalls Jr. of Spring City, TN, her uncles Johnny and Jeff Loden both of Spring City, TN, her special aunts and uncles Patti (Red) Dorman of Spring City, TN, Michelle (Wayne) Dorman of Spring City, TN, Johnny "Punkle" (Sam) LeBeau of Spring City, TN, 15 nieces and nephews, two great nephews, and several cousins.

A private memorial will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.
