Kristen Marie Howard

Kristen (Krissy) Marie Howard, age 45, passed away May 11, 2016 after a lengthy battle with heart disease. She was a life-long member of Zion Baptist Church, Benton and Cohulla Baptist Church in Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Hammontree, Jr. and loving grandmothers: Gerthel Fulbright, Clyde Hammontree, and Etheleen Rymer. She was a graduate of Polk County High School and attended Cleveland State Community College. Until disabled, she worked for Cleveland Bank & Trust and American General Finance. She is survived by her parents, Sam and Janice Rymer of Benton, a sister Paula (Greg) Harbison and neice and nephew, Abby & Burch Harbison of Delano. Also surviving is her best friend, Walter Eugene Howard, his daughter Megan (Jordan) Shepherd and grandchildren Jaxon and Emma Shepherd all of Gatesville, Texas. Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Cohulla Baptist Church Cemetery in Cleveland, Tn. with Reverend Joe Brooks officiating.
