Keyshawn Robert Tatum

Keyshawn Robert Tatum, 20, of Ten Mile passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. Keyshawn was born in Sweetwater, Tennessee on February 16, 2022, to Jessica Smith and Brian Tatum. Keyshawn had many hobbies including music, photography, art, writing, drawing, camping, and traveling. Along with his hobbies, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hosting movie nights consisting mostly of Disney, Nickelodeon, and Marvel movies which were his favorite.

Keyshawn was preceded in death by his cousin, Kaitlyn Oliver; and his uncle, Avery Taylor.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Justin and Jessica Smith, and Brian Tatum; his brothers, DaQuawn Tatum, Ja’Juan Moore, Trevion Ferguson, Brandon Oliver, and Grayson McElyea; grandparents, Kathy Roberts, Lisa Moore, and Alan Sanders; his aunts and uncles, Eric and Kelly Moore, Crystal Jones, Andrackus Thompson, Brittany Oliver, Anthony and Kayla Moore, Terry Moore, Brittany Stuart, Tonia King, Eric Moore, Nicole Bradley, Brandon Moore, and Victoria Parker; cousins, Faith, Jakob, Tristian, Erikah, Camara, Parker, Carissa, Jarren, Aleigha, Brayden, Sara, Ryker, Aiden, Connor, Karma, McKenly, Lil Da, JP, Desean, Eli, Jazmine, Sebastian, and Saniyah; his breakfast Club friends, Austin Blackmon, Megan Fowler, Danielle Pilkey, and Jacy Laymon; a host of special friends and extended family, Emme McDaniel, Sarah, Lisa, Michelle F., Christina, Michelle L., Elizabeth, Chris, GiGi, Jason, Carl, Penny, Talisha, Robbie, and Kelly; along with many more.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Decatur at 4:00 pm with Pastor Jordan Metzger, and Pastor Curtis Porter officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm prior to the service.
