Kenneth Wayne "Slim" Bennett

Kenneth Wayne “Slim” Bennett, 70, of Englewood, TN passed away on March 9, 2019. He was born on June 27, 1948 to the late Clifford and Anna Leona Bennett. He loved watching Westerns and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Leigha Bennett; daughters: Katrina Fish (Alan), Corey Bennett, Dorothy Sands, Dixie Bennett (Daniel), Annie Sanford, Hazel Sanford and Karolynn Bennett; sons: Kenneth Bennett II (Heather), Clifford Bennett (Ambrosia), Kevin Bennett; grandchildren: Kenneth Bennett II, Clifford Liam Bennett, Rowen Bennett, Raiden Bennett, Athena Bennett, Daniel Clay Burgess, Emberlee Burgess, Markis Fish, Sadie Burgess. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends; great grandchildren: Zola and Damien Fish.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Thursday March 14, 2019 at Companion Funeral Home Athens Location located at 400 S. White Street, Athens, TN 37303. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 2:00pm.
