Kenneth Martin Harrison

November 30, 1941 — April 15, 2023

Kenneth Martin Harrison, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023, in Cleveland, TN, the same city where he was born on November 30, 1941. He was the son of the late Edward and Pearl Moore Harrison and was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Harrison (Sarah), sister Ruth Thompson (Willard), and sister-in-law Glenda Batts.


Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Jane Faulkner Harrison, son Brian Harrison (Melisa) of Holly Springs, NC, daughter Melanie Mink (Waylon) of Cumming, GA, grandchildren Jacob and Cameron Mink of Cumming, GA, Ian Harrison, Nora Harrison, and Evie Harrison of Holly Springs, NC. He is also survived by his nieces Patricia West (Ralph), Gena Patterson, Denise Verner (Frederick), nephew Greg Batts (Tracy) of Zebulon, NC, sister-in-law Helen Ellis (Lynn) and his special friend Lee Otis Burton.


Kenneth graduated from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. Later in life Kenneth had a successful career at American Customs, where he was highly respected and admired by his colleagues.


Throughout his life, Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing at Tellico River. His love for nature and the great outdoors was evident in the many stories he shared with family and friends. He was also a dedicated member of his community and was actively involved in various associations and organizations.


A Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 21st, 2023, at 2PM at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Arris Cavender to officiate.
