Kenneth Alan Kesley

Kenneth Alan Kesley Sr., 77, of Ooltewah, TN passed away peacefully at his home on April 6, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born on September 15, 1940 to the late Robert and Delia Kesley. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of this area. He served in the United States Army National Guard. Kenneth was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. He was a barber by trade, owning Ken’s Barber Shop in Ooltewah for many years. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and going on cruises any chance he could get. Those who knew him will forever remember his warm and caring personality. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Donnie Kesley and Russell Kesley.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years, Kathryn Kesley; children: Kenneth Kesley Jr. (Marie), Anne Oakes (Michael), Robert Choquette Jr. (Eileen), and Michael Choquette (Linda); grandchildren: Marlene Williams (Zach), Lauren Knapp (Brett), Brooke Kesley, Macy Kesley, Kenneth Kesley III “Trey”, Jonathan Choquette, and Jacob Choquette; great grandchildren: Archer Knapp and Winston Williams; brothers Wayne Kesley (Shirley) and Roy Kesley (Katherine); sister in law Charlotte Kesley; In addition to these, Kenneth leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday April 8, 2018 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00pm following the visitation with Pastor Gary Moats, Pastor Shane Lawson, and Pastor Kenneth Kesley Jr. officiating. Graveside services will take place at 10:00am on Monday April 9, 2018 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, they request that donations be made to Clingan Ridge Baptist Church.
