Kathy Lewis

Kathy Lewis, loving Mother and sister passed away unexpectedly on July 7 2022 a few weeks shy of her 67th birthday. Kathy was born on July 20th 1955 to Verdell & Alvin Rhoades she was the oldest of four daughters. Kathy grew up in Falling Water Tn until her teenage years when the family moved to Birchwood TN. She graduated in 1973 where she was a member of the National Honor Society and was a Cheerleader. After graduating she married and was the Mother of 4 children Kelly Lewis, Amanda Hodge (Mike) Mark Lewis (Shelby) & Taylor Lewis.

She was a Mom and a Homemaker who loved to cook and care for her family. Kathy loved antiques and auctions and the hunt for that special piece to decorate her home. She was an avid reader and writer who always wanted to write her own novel.

Left to cherish the memories of her are her children and sisters Gail Sandlin, Teresa Overholt (Ed) & Taye Uribe-Gama (Frankie) and six grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

As Kathy requested there will be no service. Anyone who would like to make a donation in honor of her, can donate to the Multiple Sclerosis Association or The Alzheimer's Association.
