Kathryn M. Callahan

Kathryn M. Callahan, 93, a resident of Charleston, Tennessee, passed away on Friday morning, December 29, 2017. Kathryn will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Erb & Opal McAlister; and sister, Carmen Goins.
Kathryn leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children, Ann Matthews, Janet Evans (Eddie), Faye Watson (William Ralph), Dannie Callahan, David Callahan (Priscilla), and Jeff Callahan (Deedee); grandchildren, Scottie Watson, Shelley WatsonHarris, Blake Callahan, Jason Callahan, Shane Evans, Kathy Maupin, Wayne Callahan, and Danille Watson; brother, Clyde McAlister (Mildred); great-grandchildren, Justin Withrow, Tyler Watson, Tanner Withrow, Sydni Callahan, Cooper Callahan, Grayson Evans, Parker Evans, and Noah Callahan; great-great-granddaughter, Lily Withrow; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family is receiving friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Monday January 1, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
Following the visitation, there will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service held at 2:00pm in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
Kathryn will be laid to rest following the service in the Chilcutt United Methodist Church Cemetery.
