Katherine M. Clower

Katherine Marie Clower, 77, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away January 24, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. Born July 8, 1944, to the late James & Mildred Paul. She was a member of Bellefounte Baptist Church for several years and enjoyed working in the nursery.

She loved her family especially her husband of almost 50 years and her grandchildren. Katherine spent part of her time crocheting and making baby quilts.

Survived by her loving husband, Glenn Thomas Clower; daughters, Verrena Ownby (Jimmy Gentry) and Sandy (Ronnie) Haney; siblings, Bill (Reta) Paul, Jim (Sheila) Paul, Winston (Debbie) Paul, and Calvin (Mary Ellen) Paul; grandchildren, Chad (Christy) Ownby, Shawn (Leah) Ownby, Sunshine Palmer, Christian Peek, and Kammi (Aaron) Dillard; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Bellefounte Baptist Church located at 132 Bellfounte Rd NE, Cleveland, TN 37312. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Lake Walker officiating. Burial will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, 11:00 AM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Cleveland, TN.
