Katharine Sims

On Friday, January 15, 2021, Katharine Sims; loving spouse, mother, sister, and grandmother of 3, passed away at the age of 63.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Tommy and Mercedes Foster, her nephew Tommy Carter, her husband, Charles Sims, and her granddaughter Mercedes Sims. She is survived by her spouse Chris Holtzclaw, her sister Arhonda Carter and family, her daughter, Tiffany Sims and husband Roger and 2 grandchildren Savannah and Michael, and several cousins, a niece and nephews.

Kathy was born on May 29th, 1957 in Charleston, WV. She loved music, family and her dog Rollie. She helped a lot of people in life as a caregiver and housekeeper. She received and gifted much love throughout her life. She will forever be loved and missed. Kathy is without a doubt dancing in Heaven with her family and granddaughter Mercedes.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 23rd at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel.
