Obituary
Julia Gail Shelton, 56, a resident of Dalton, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Sunday April 5th, 2015. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late William T. and Mamie Ann Shelton on November 16th, 1958. She was always known for cherishing all of those around her and having a humble heart in every situation. Gail enjoyed spending time with others while fishing and camping.

Along with her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Shelton, Kenneth Ray Shelton, and Jerry Shelton.

Gail leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving companion and best friend, Sheila Hammontree; her brother, James E. (Lea) Shelton; her sisters, Becky Fountain, Wanda (Joe) Lanoue, and Ruth Cofer; her children, Jennifer Quinton, Kayleigh Lanoue, and James B. Shelton and 4 grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service is planned for Thursday April 9th, 2015 at 11:30AM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW Cleveland, Tennessee 37311. The family will also be receiving friends an hour and a half prior from 10:00AM until the 11:30AM service time.
