Obituary for Judith Lea Poe


Judith (Judy) Lea Roberson Poe, 79, passed away on March 28th at a local nursing home surrounded by family. She had fought a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.


Judy was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. She was born to the late Florrie and James Roberson. Judy was a proud graduate of Tyner High School. She was a member of Apison United Methodist church. She office manager for Dr. Brad Sundstrom for many years until she retired.


She was preceded by brother, Jimmy Roberson and sister, Anne Watkins.


Survivors include sons Greg and Michael Poe; brother Martin Roberson; grandchildren Maeghan and (Graeme) Russo, Grant and Clarke Poe; great-grandchildren Bailey, Riley, and Charlotte; along with several nieces and nephews.


Memorial service will be held at :

Apison United Methodist Church

4404 Bill Jones Rd

Apison TN 37302


Visitation will be April 21st from 3 to 6pm. The service will immediately follow visitation with

Reverend Dr. Vanessa Wallace and

Reverend Debbie Stokes officiating.
