Judy Dianne Smith

Judy Dianne Perkins Smith, 77, born on February 1, 1944 a resident of Fort Oglethorpe, GA went home  to be with the Lord on October 8, 2021. She was a member of Peach Orchard Baptist Church. 

Mom was a person who believed in life’s bright side. I know because she helped me to find it many  times. She always considered everyone else's feelings and loved to make people smile/laugh. All my life  I’ve been able to count on her...she listened, taught, understood, encouraged and supported me  through everything going on in my life. She made so many sacrifices without saying a word. We will all  miss her positive attitude and generous spirit.   She loved the Lord and was always praising him for his blessings.

She retired from Kmart after 20 years then retired from Hutchinson Hospital. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther “Luke”  Ellison and Lucille Garrison; son, Timothy Perkins.

She is survived by her daughter, Jaime Perkins Jackson of Fort Oglethorpe GA; brother, Randy Smith (Lisa); sister in  law, Kathy Carpenter (Keith); other daughter, Rene’ Baker; grandsons, Zak Jackson of Orlando, FL and Zane Jackson of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; granddaughter, Leah Perkins; and great granddaughter, Camille.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 6:30pm at Peach Orchard Baptist Church in Rossville, GA.
