Joy Lynn Maynard

Joy Lynn Maynard, 72, of Cleveland, TN passed away on March 28, 2016. She was born on October 23, 1943 to the late Casimir and Mildred Wewer. Joy was the manager of the Rebel Drive Inn for many years. She loved gardening and flowers while also enjoying many various crafts. Above all things, however, she was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and loved dearly by all who knew her.
In addition to her mother and father she is preceded in death by her grandson Dylan Wright and her brother Tony Wewer.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of thirty nine years, Sam Maynard; sons: Brook Wright, Brent Maynard, Jason Yates, and Sam “Bo” Reed Maynard III; daughters: Debbie Rothgery, Tina Pickney, Lee Ann Wright, Tracy Hanshaw, and Amy Burrow; sister Diana Ladd. In addition to these, she leaves behind 24 grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 on Friday April 1, 2016.
