Joy Laverne Dill

Joy LaVerne Dill, 60, formerly of Old Fort, TN, passed away April 5, 2023, at her residence. Joy was born September 7, 1962, in Cleveland, TN, and she was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed arts & crafts, cross stitch, sewing, jewelry making, and diamond painting. Joy was very thoughtful; she would often show up with homemade gifts to show her love and support.

Joy is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Woodrow Dill; nephew, Jason Woodrow Yarber; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her loving mother, Naomi Dill; sister, Sandy Yarber; and very special niece, Cynthia Yarber Raymond.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to “Saturday Sacks”, at Chatsworth First United Methodist at 111 W Cherokee Street, Chatsworth, GA 30705.

Joy will be greatly missed by her family and her dog, Bebe.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, at 2pm at Chatsworth First United Methodist with a memorial service to follow at 3pm.
