Josephine Burdette

Josephine Burdette, 82, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2017. All that knew Josephine knew that she was a hard worker. She would always seek opportunities to help others in need, always helping in any way she could. More than anything, Josephine loved spending time with her family, especially spending time with her granddaughters. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Josephine is preceded in death by her parents, John & Nellie Gibson; and her children, Cathy Holder and Michael Holder.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children, Ricky Holder, Chris Holder, Lisa Bandy (Samuel), and Moniko Thomas (Richard); beloved grandchildren, Damien Lawless, Amanda Casey, Joseph Harvell, Hannah Scoggins, and Mariah Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Keegan Lawless and Hayden Casey.
A celebration of life funeral service is planned for 7:30pm on Friday December 8, 2017 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
The family will receive friends two hours prior from 5:30pm until the 7:30pm service time at the funeral home.
