Obituary

Joseph Stanley “Stan” Grimm, 66, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday morning, October 4th, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital surrounded by his family. Stan was born in Wayne, MI on March 26th, 1948 a son of the late Edwin S. & Edna E. Grimm. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Big Springs Baptist Church. Stan was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy after faithfully serving his country. He was retired from the Whirlpool Corporation where he served in the Engineering department. Stan was gifted in working with computers and used that talent to serve his church on a regular basis. Above all Stan was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Stan leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of thirty nine years Wanda Allen Grimm, one daughter Tracy Frazier and her husband Andrew, two grandchildren Ethan Frazier and Faith Frazier, two brothers Dan Lovell (Terri) and Harley Tackett (Laura), numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Thursday evening, October 9th, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Big Springs Baptist Church located at 1415 Hardwick Street in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Daniel Malone officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday evening from 4:00 PM until the 6:00 PM service time.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Audio-Visual Department of Big Springs Baptist Church in Stan’s memory.
