Jonathan Russell Knox

Jonathan Russell Knox, a beloved member of the Chattanooga community, passed away at his home on April 6, 2023, at the age of 46. He was born on October 27, 1976, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Jimmie and Gloria (Greene) Knox. Jonathan was known for his warm personality, his kind heart, and his infectious smile. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing that his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched during his life. He worked as an Engineer for Norfolk Southern.

Jonathan is survived by his adoring daughters, Heather and Hannah, his caring sister Cindy Knox-Hornsby, and his precious grandchildren, Maverick and Conner. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jimmy and Jane Knox, as well as his siblings, Curtis J. Knox, Tammie Sims, and Sam C. Knox.

The final arrangements for Jonathan are being handled by Companion Funeral and Cremation, Cleveland Chapel.
