John Lee Rains

John Lee Rains, 57, of Cleveland, TN passed away on April 27, 2021. He was born on February 11, 1964 to the late Jimmy Duke and Jewell Lawson Duke. He was a part of Chamberlain Memorial Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his sisters Brenda Daly and Diane Reed; grandchildren: PJ Rippeon and River Rains.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Candy Hall Rains; children: Curtis Rains (Charity), Luke Rains (Jasmine), Tyler Blackwell, Jennifer Hendrix (Chris), Misty Rains, and Jewell Rippeon (Phillip); siblings: Sandra Lewis, Elaine McNeese, Larry Rains, Michael Duke, and Darlene Weaver; grandchildren: Aidan, Alijah, Adriana, Candy, Haley, Frankie, Eva, Georgia Phoenix, Brennen, Matthew, Jaden, Zack, Aaliyah Storm, Raelynn, Keirra, Kenzie, Kallie, Ace, and Aaliyah Caprice. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday May 2, 2021 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service. A celebration of John’s life will be held at 4:00pm at the funeral home following visitation.
