John Holmes Wilson Iii

March 23, 1946 — June 15, 2016

John Holmes Wilson III, 70, of Rossville, GA passed away on June 15, 2016. He was born on March 23, 1946 to the late John Holmes Wilson Jr. and Edna Anderson Wilson. John enjoyed camping, canoeing, and shooting guns. He was an employee of Fibron for 25 years working as a winder mechanic. He was part Cherokee Indian and very proud and interested in learning about his heritage. Above all things, he was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather that loved his family. In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by one son Bradley Wilson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory three sons: John B. Wilson, Brandon Matthew Wilson, and Robby Kinsey; two daughters Shannon Huggins and Hailey Wright; brothers Gilbert Fowler and Leon Fowler; sisters: Frances Howard, Joyce Parham, and Debbie West; grandchildren: Gabriel Wilson, Dailey Wright, Michael Fossett, Samantha Roof, Ethan Kinsey, Keegan Kinsey, and Dylan Homer; great grandchild Christian Fossett.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 25th, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at the Fort Oglethorpe chapel of Wilson Funeral Home.
