John Frederick Nowak Sr.

John F. Nowak Sr. of Ringgold GA, passed away peacefully at his home on January 4, 2018.

Jack was Born on March 5, 1936. He married Kathy Smith on August 12, 1977 in Jerusalem, New York. He was a veteran and served in the Army. He was a Merit Badge Counselor with the Boy Scouts of America. Jack was a soft spoken, good hearted man. When someone was in need he would be one of the first to help. He loved woodworking and tinkering.

Jack is preceded in death by his son, John Jr. and his beloved Marley.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Kathy; children, Bernice (Aaron) Lack, Debbie (Richard) Irwin, Lori (Jackie) Smith; his grandchildren, Brandy, Michael, Dustin, Heather, Rickey, Tonna, Brittney, Tiffany and several great grandchildren.
