John Eric Davis

John Eric Davis, 50, of Decatur passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 after a long battle with Cancer. He grew up In Georgetown, went to school at Eastview Elementary and attended Meigs County High School. He loved to ride his Harley, go climbing in the mountains, and going hiking. He was of Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Lorie Davis; his father, Johnny Davis of Chatsworth; grandparents, Bill and Stella Suttles of Birchwood, and Glen and Rosie Davis of Cleveland; as well as several aunts, uncles, and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Shellia Davis; son, Jon Erik Davis whom he loved more than life itself, of Charleston TN; mother, Beth Suttles Robinson and step-father Kenneth Robinson of Ooltewah; brothers, Charles (Kim) Davis and James (Jamie) Davis; nieces and nephews, Logan, Halb, Austin and Tayler Davis; also a very special stepson, Justin Corder as well as stepsons Noah and Joshua Corder. Along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at Eastview Chapel: 1393 Eastview Circle, Georgetown TN on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 6pm with David Evan and Wayne Murphy Speaking, and his friend Rick Campbell Singing. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-6pm at the church.
