John B. Harvey

John B. Harvey, 85, of Chattanooga, TN, went home to be with Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. He was born March 5, 1938, to Charles and Rosa Lee Harvey.

John was a graduate of Central High School and upon graduation, he joined the Marine Corp. Reserves. He was a member of the local IBEW and was retired from EPB.

John was a member of Shelter Church. Many people knew him for the love of singing and playing instruments.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife, Shelah Harvey.

Survived by his sister, children, grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Companion Funeral Home-Chattanooga, TN.
