Joe Taylor Raburn

Joe Taylor Raburn, 69, of Cleveland, TN passed away on December 27, 2015. He was born on September 20, 1946 to the late Henry and Bonnie Raburn. Joe was a devoted husband and father. He loved farming and gardening. He always put others first and was a hero to many especially his wife, Judy.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife Judith Carole Boles Raburn; children Joan Raburn Thurmond (Todd) and Jon Raburn; siblings: Rondell Raburn (Barbara); Norma Jean Raburn Lewis (Bill); grandchildren: Hannah Thurmond, Taylor Thurmond, and Janie Raburn; in addition to these, he leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Tasso Baptist Church located at 164 Old Charleston Road, Cleveland, TN 37312. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the church on Tuesday December 29, 2015. Interment will follow the service on Wednesday at Tasso United Methodist Cemetery. Taylor Thurmond, Rondy Raburn, Brian Lewis, Brian Crooks, Jesse Davis, and Murphy Davis will serve as pallbearers. Earl Ball, Taylor Caywood, Herb Beane, and Michael Brown will serve as honorary pallbearers.
