Joann Mcclure

JoAnn McClure, age 74 of Cleveland, TN passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at her residence among family. JoAnn was a graduate of Bradley Central High School class of 1963 and a faithful member of The Antioch Church of Christ in Old Fort.
She was retired after more than 40 years working for Red Food/Bi-Lo Grocery Store in Cleveland, TN. In her retirement years, JoAnn dedicated her life to helping others less fortunate than her by volunteering at the local food bank. Her passion with her husband and best friend Robert was tending to animals of all kinds, growing and sharing fresh vegetables with friends and family. JoAnn was selfless and freely given with her money and time to anyone in need.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents Ishmael “Red” and Gladys Pullen of Polk County, TN and her brother James “Rat” Pullen of Cleveland, TN. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert McClure of Cleveland, TN, her sister Jerry Nipper (David) of Cleveland, TN., her daughters Jodi Westfield (Zack) of Lakeland, FL, and Angela Mathis (Barry) of Loudon, TN. JoAnn will also be forever remembered by her grandchildren Ashley and Ava Westfield, Kaitlyn Duncan, Bradley Mathis and great grandchildren Adalynn and Anna Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM on Monday at Companion Funeral Services followed by a Celebration of Life memorial from 6:30 to 7:30.
In Lieu of flowers, donations should be made to The Antioch Church of Christ in Memory of JoAnn McClure at 103 Bates Pike, Old Fort, TN 37362. The donations will be used to create a memorial garden at the church in JoAnn’s memory.
