Jo Ann Jordan

Jo Ann Jordan, 78, of Cleveland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed gardening and antiquing as well as watching hummingbirds. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Alma Fortenberry Townsend; and brother, Jerry Townsend.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Marce Jordan; children, Tony (Renita) Jenkins, Gary Jenkins, Michael (Tina) Jenkins, Janet Jenkins (Jamie) Legg and Meredith Oxford (Shane) King; brother, Jimmy (Renee) Townsend; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Parkway Baptist Church located at 185 Meadow Lane in Cleveland on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00PM with one hour of visitation prior to the service time. A graveside service will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
