Jo Ann Bledsoe

February 18, 1938 — July 19, 2022

Jo Ann Bledsoe, 84, of Cleveland, TN passed away on July 19, 2022. She was born on February 18, 1938 to the late David Riley Smith and Mable Dawson Smith. Jo Ann retired from Duracell. She was a member of First Baptist Church and active in Beecher Hunter’s Sunday School Class. Jo Ann loved working in her yard with flowers and spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother and father she is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Billy Ross Bledsoe; brother John Thomas Smith and David Frederick Smith; and grandson Jacob Jenkins.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters: Patty Scoggins (Eddie) and Wendy Jenkins (Donnie); grandchildren: Rachel Scoggins Martin (Edward) of Nashville, Madeline Scoggins Garcia (Troy), Jonah Jenkins (Hope); great grandchildren: Macy Collins, Olive Martin, McKay Martin, and Gabriel Garcia.

Jo Ann’s family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm on Friday July 22nd at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1pm.
