Jimmy Daniel Harris

October 5, 1948 — October 21, 2016

Jimmy Daniel Harris, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away October 21, 2016 in a local hospital.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Jimmy was an auto mechanic and a small engine repairman. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Maud Harris; brother, Berley Harris and sister, Barbara McNabb.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia Kay Harris; daughter, Kathy (Michael) Hagler; son, Franklin Ungos both of Cleveland; sister, Marty Davis, Trenton; five grandchildren, Nick Ungos, Tanner Ungos, Dylan Crabtree, Devan Bomar and Chase Hagler; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at 12:00pm with Rev. John Cain officiating at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Interment will follow the service at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
