Jeffrey Allen Sneed

Jeffrey Allen Sneed, 59, of Etowah, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Jeffrey was born in Panama City, Florida on October 7, 1963, to the late L.H. and Mildred Sneed. Jeffrey had many hobbies and interest some including playing basketball, mountains, waterfalls, fishing, watching movies, and going to the casino to play poker with his buddies. Jeffrey was an Atlanta Braves baseball fan as well as a die-hard Tennessee Vols football fan.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Sneed; and his son, Joey Lowe.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Ciara (Sarah Botts) Sneed; wife, Shane Sneed; son, Mart Sneed; stepson, Joshua Goodman; sister, Rhonda Armstrong; nephew, Brandon (Brittanye) Armstrong; great niece, Kenzie Armstrong; his grandchildren, Elijah Lowe, Landin Sneed, Brennan Sneed, Ryden Sneed, and Andrea Goodman; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with Reverend Terry Crisp officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm prior to the service.
