Jeffery Belk

Jeffery Douglas Belk, born January 8, 1968, to the late James and Georgia (Frost) Belk in Jasper, TN, passed away on June 25, 2021.
Jeff prided in his love of children ministries. He taught nursery in the Church of God for over 8 years. For this reason, any child who wishes to join in singing “Jesus Loves Me,” led by Sister Amanda Smith, is welcome. Special singing by Sherry Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, James (Jimmy) Belk, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Callie Belk; children, Angie (Stacey Trentham) Bingham, Nicole (Teri Jacket) Atha, Crissy (Steven) Panther, and Darcy (Jonathon) Maynor; siblings: Cathy Hall (Billy Joe), Judy Jones (Troy), and Mike Belk; grandchildren: Alisha Bingham, Samantha (Ryan ) Elliot, Hannah, Landon, and Leland Panther, Cameron Maynor, Sydney and Sarah Bingham, Mary Johnson; great-grandchildren: twins, Trandon and Sawyer Evitt, Alexander Elliot, Darian and Kaydence Clay; nieces: Lauren (Brandon ) Williams, Jessica Hall, Angela Jones, and Kennedy Belk; nephews: Cameron Belk and Thomas Jones; and a great niece, Lydia Rouge Williams. He leaves leaving behind a neighborhood in Sale Creek that defines love.
His life phrase was "To worry is to argue with God". He smiled and laughed through all eight years of illness.
Celebration of life will be held at The Ridge Church of God at 9400 Hixson Pike, Soddy Daisy, TN, with Rev. T.J. Tallent on Sunday, July 18, at 2pm. The service will also be livestreamed on the church Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, please donate to local children ministries and do a kind deed for someone today. Thank you to Rev.
