Jean Florence Barnett

Jean Florence Barnett, 87, passed to Heaven on August 26, 2020. Born in London, England, she survived the bombings of London during WWI and was buried alive twice. She relocated to the United States with her husband Brian and two daughters Hilary and Shirley in 1969.
A devoted woman of God, Jean served as her husband’s right hand during their 60+ years of ministering with the Elim Pentecostal Church and the Church of God. Her voice was a soaring presence in the North Cleveland Church of God Choir, the Crusaders, and she led many Women’s Ministries throughout her life.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Brian Barnett; daughter Shirley Pace (Terry); two grandchildren Hilary A. Reid (Michael); Robert Pace (Skye); two great granddaughters Addison Katherine and Elizabeth Quinn and a sister Rita Meekcoms. She is preceded in death by her daughter Hilary Ann Barnett and sister Shirley Allen.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday September 1, 2020 at North Cleveland Church of God. No visitation will be held, only the service.
