Janice Susan Hickman Manery

Janice Susan Hickman Manery, 58, of Shelbyville, TN, passed away, January 26, 2023, in Lewisburg, TN, surrounded by her family. Born December 28, 1964, to Lawrence Clinton Hickman and Wanda Forest Caldwell Hickman, in Cleveland, TN. Janice was a member of Stanfield Baptist Church and a 1983 graduate of Bradley Central High School. She was also employed by Walmart for over 17 years. Janice enjoyed working with special needs students and co-workers who were more like family at Mill Creek Elementary in Nolensville. She loved attending ball games, dairy cattle shows, and spending time with her family.

Janice is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Clinton Hickman.

Survived by her mother, Wanda Forest Caldwell Hickman; sons, Matthew (Randa) Manery, and Lucas Manery; daughter, Jessica (Jay) Ozburn; siblings, Connie Eaves, Beverly (Mike) Lawson, Randall (Ginger) Hickman, and Mike (DeAnna) Hickman; grandchildren, Jayme, Forest, Kason, Kolbie Ozburn, and Trevor Manery; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023, 3:00 PM, at Stanfield Baptist Church with Rev. David Evans officiating. Burial will be held at Stanfield Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Jayme Ozburn, Forest Ozburn, Cody Eaves, Carter Eaves, Makayla Hickman, Austin Hickman, Nathan Porterfield, Whitney Porterfield, Matthew Manery, Lucas Manery, and Jay Ozburn. Honorary pallbearers will be Kason Ozburn, Kolbie Ozburn, Trevor Manery, Savanna Seay, and Hudson Seay.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM, prior to the service at the church.
