Janice Cassoday, 73, Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on June 26, 2021.Originally from Manchester, England and of the Pentecostal faith. Born on September 29, 1947. She enjoyed knitting & crocheting, dancing & socializing with family & friends, putting puzzles together, all-night card games with her kids, playing Dr. Mario & Tetris, collecting dolls, angels, knick knacks, yardsaling, walking around flea markets with her Husband, instigating home renovations. Janice was a culinary artist who enjoyed crafting her own recipes. She was good at listening without passing judgment & gave great advice, she was a wise person that seemingly lived many lives in one. Janice loved to spoil the babies in the family as much as she could. She had a strength & a toughness about her that was quite rare and unique. She was an amazing mom, she really cared for her family, she was the glue that kept everyone together got us all together for family gatherings. Janice served in the British Air Force.
Preceded in death by her Husband, Dennis Cassoday, whom she adored; parents Norman & Edith Marion Elliott, Sister Lorraine Barry 2 Grandsons.
Survived by her Scott Cassoday and Emilio Ruiz; daughters, Lisa Boren, Janette Smith, Jeniffer Smith, Julia George; siblings, Norman Elliott, Allen Elliott, Carolyn Willows; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home, Cleveland, TN.
