James Wallace Ramsey

James Wallace Ramsey, 76, passed away on September 9, 2021. He was born June 7, 1945, in Chattanooga, TN. He was of the Baptist faith and loved singing, playing his guitar, and racing.

Preceded in death by his parents, J. L. Ramsey & Louise Ramsey; sisters, Barbara Lawson and Cindy Grays.

Survived by his loving wife, Darlene (Tiny) Ramsey; son, Mark Ramsey; daughters, Angela Ferguson and Debra Garrett; siblings, Tommy Ramsey, Kathy Wilhoit, Eva Shelton, Adam Gray, Joan Rector, and Bernice Ramsey; grandchildren, Carrey Garrett, James Ferguson, Dalton Ramsey, Randy Ferguson, Luke Ramsey, and Jasper Ramsey.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM-7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Companion Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM, followed by the service in the chapel, with Pastor Ronnie Dotson, officiating. Burial will be held at New McDonald Cemetery.
