James Ronald Cameron, Jr.

James Ronald Cameron, Jr., age 54, of Chickamauga, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Born on May 1, 1969, in Chickamauga, GA.

James was preceded in death by his father, James Ronald Cameron, Sr., and his brother, Steven Wayne Cameron. He is survived by his devoted mother, Frances Elaine Cameron, the mother of his children, Lisa Marie Cameron, his son, Brandon Lee Cameron, his daughter, Ashley Marie Newby, his sisters, Tina Lynn Johnson and Janifer Elaine Bunch, his brother, Thomas Delane Cameron, and his beloved grandchildren, Aubree Marie Armstrong, Conner Jaycee Cameron, Ella Grace Newby, and Layla Brooke Newby.

Throughout his life, James found great joy in spending time with his cherished grandchildren. He took great pride in being a grandfather. As an avid outdoorsman, James enjoyed exploring the world, and he shared this passion with his grandchildren. James was well-known for his creative ability to build things for his family.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate James' life at a memorial service on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Heritage Baptist Church, located in Chattanooga, TN.

His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he left behind, for he left an indelible mark on their lives that nothing can erase. Rest in peace, James Ronald Cameron, Jr. Your spirit, your love, and your legacy will continue in our cherished memories and the lessons you've left behind.
