James Patterson Jr.

James Moore Patterson Jr., 72, of Cleveland, TN passed away on October 27, 2015. He was born on May 18, 1943 to the late James Moore Patterson and Mable Beatrice Berroug Patterson. Jim was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by one brother Gary Patterson of California.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Ann Patterson; stepdaughter Pamela Cook (Robert); brothers: Huey Long, Clyde Long (Evelyn), Jimmy Long (Vanessa), Robert Long (Sheila); sisters: Joyce Stafford and Shelia Nicholson; nieces: Angela Towl, Kim Spence, Kristie Rayburn, Lisa Dixon; nephews: Hunter Nicholson (Alexis), Dustin Nicholson (Heather), Huey Long Jr. (Tonya), Clyde Long II, Chris Stafford and David Long; great nephew: Landon Nicholson; cousin Robert Patterson; chosen son: Jeff Waddell; god daughter Abigail Waddell; and special friends Beverly and Eugene Mengie. In addition to these, he leaves behind several other extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday November 4, 2015 at Companion Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until the 6:00pm service time at the funeral home.
