James Otis Goodman

James Otis Goodman, 69, a resident of Ten Mile, TN, departed this life on October 14, 2021. He was born on January 4, 1952 in Spring City, TN to the late William and Edith Goodman. Otis was a loving, kind-hearted person. He loved dirt-track racing and fishing. Otis enjoyed watching game shows as well. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Along with his parents, Otis was preceded in death by his brother, Buddy Goodman; his sisters, Margaret Russell and Peggy Shelton.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his siblings, Wanda Oran, Johnny Goodman (Frances), Edna Berry, Faye Thomas, Kathy Berry, and Robert Goodman.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens at 3:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at Baker Cemetery in Ten Mile, TN.
