James Lester Cagle

James Lester Cagle, 84, of Athens, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Lester was born in Athens, Tennessee on July 8, 1938, to the late Sue Cagle. He enjoyed fishing, camping, wood working, and shooting his guns. Lester was a dedicated member of Valley View Baptist Church.

Along with his mother he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sue Cagle; and 2 brother in laws, Jimmy McNabb, and Carl “Junior” Mitchell.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister, Linda McNabb, daughter, Janice (Dewayne) Wilson; son David (Bonnie) Cagle; and his sister-in-law, Gladys Mitchell; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
