James Lee Overton Sr.

James Lee Overton Sr, 80, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at his home. James worked at Cleveland Chair where he eventually retired later on. He was an extremely hard worker and loved his family deeply.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Overton; son, James Lee Overton Jr; parents, Wilk and Irene Overton; brothers, John and William Overton.
James leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Derida (Jacky) Waters, Kim Leamon, and Richard Overton; siblings, Agnus Miller and Ed Overton; family friend, Sandra Cotton; along with 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several other extended family.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 29, 2019 from 1-3pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. The celebration of life service will be held at 3pm following the visitation in the chapel. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ronald Ledford will be officiating.
