James Francis Davis

James Francis Davis, 71, of Hixson, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born in Peoria, IL. James was a disabled Vietnam war veteran he served in the United States Marine Corp. James had a passion for fishing, he loved to go every chance he got. He loved watching NASCAR, NFL football and his Tennessee VOLS. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Austin Davis, of Peoria, IL; mother Judith Francis Davis of St. Louis, MO; Brothers Jack Leroy Davis of Peoria IL, Walter Charles Davis of Peoria, IL, Roscoe Harold Davis of Peoria, IL and George Franklin Davis of Peoria, IL and sister Judith Clair Davis of Peoria, IL. He is survived by his sisters, Penny Sue Burroughs of Peoria, IL and Rose Catherine Thompson of Peoria, IL; daughters, Kimberley Sue Rodgers of Soddy Daisy, TN and Theresa Michelle Davis of Hixson, TN; son Michael Scott Rodgers of Gadston, AL; grandchildren Zachary Taylor Richardson of Hixson TN, James Michael Richardson of Soddy Daisy, TN, Madison Michelle Richardson of Soddy Daisy, TN, Casey Arron L'Heureux of Soddy Daisy TN and Kyrsten L'Heureux of Soddy Daisy, TN. A private memorial service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
